What are the warning signs of a heart attack?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), ischemic heart disease is the leading cause of death globally. In 2019, 8.9 million people died from cardiovascular disease.
Some studies indicate that certain symptoms, known as prodromal symptoms, occur in the days or months preceding a heart attack.
A study published in the National Library of Medicine shows that these prodromal symptoms are often overlooked by both patients and physicians.

These symptoms include, but are not limited to, chest pain, tightness in the chest, burning in the chest, palpitations, fatigue, trouble sleeping, shortness of breath, dizziness, anxiety, sudden sensations of hot or cold, back pain, and vomiting.

1. Fatigue:
Extreme tiredness, drowsiness, exhaustion, or a lack of energy, even when performing simple tasks, can be signs of fatigue. One cause may be reduced blood flow to the heart. This usually occurs with narrowed arteries. Fatigue can easily occur in people with heart problems.
