The news often reports cases of infidelity between employers and employees caught red-handed. These aren’t particularly surprising, as the phenomenon has existed since the dawn of time and will continue to exist forever. Some people surrender to their bosses without hesitation, hoping for a promotion. Others, truly, begin to feel an irresistible attraction, engaging in intimate encounters at their desk, in the manager’s office, or in any private space possible. Still others resist their superior’s charm. The world is beautiful because it’s diverse, and jokes often contain a grain of truth, like the one I’m about to tell you.
I’ll tell you upfront that this is a sexual request made by a boss to his secretary, who happens to be engaged. The employer calls the secretary and proposes sex: “I’ll do it very quickly, you won’t even notice: I’ll throw 1,000 euros on the floor, you bend down to pick it up, and when you get up, I’m finished.”
The secretary is shocked, so she calls her boyfriend and confides in him.
He bursts out laughing and says, ” Do it, but ask him for 2,000 euros, and be careful, get the money quickly, so he doesn’t have time to take off his pants!” Reassured by her boyfriend’s words, the secretary agrees. Thirty minutes later , her boyfriend calls her again, asking, ” How did it go, honey? “
The girl, out of breath, replies , “They’re all dimes, ahhh, mmmmmm, ohhh… Call me in two hours…” Of course, the joke, to the attentive observer, is crystal clear. The secretary succumbed to passion, cheating on her boyfriend, who is willing to collect the coins but certainly doesn’t want to be cheated on. However, this is a sad reality that affects many workplaces, not just this one.
It all depends on the employee’s ability to maintain a professional relationship , separating the romantic and professional aspects. However, not everyone manages to do this, and this is a perfect example! We don’t know if the guy was astute enough to sense the betrayal, or how he reacted. However, I’d like to take this opportunity to ask the women reading this: how would you react if you were the secretary?
