Medical Exam: What’s Needed for Renewal?
At each renewal it is mandatory to undergo a medical examination , during which the following are checked:
- sight and hearing
- reflexes and motor skills
- general psychophysical state
- If necessary, your doctor may request further specialist tests. In the case of specific pathologies, the renewal period may be reduced.
Documents required for license renewal
To renew your driving licence you need:
- valid identity document
- health card
- expired or expiring license
- 1 recent passport photo
- medical certificate (issued during the visit)
- receipt of payments (postal payment slips)
